Personal Statement

Honoring your unique story

Life can often feel like a series of overwhelming intersections, leaving you drained by depression, anxiety, or the weight of daily stress. Whether you are navigating the intense emotional upheaval of new parenthood, the high-stakes pressure of legal system challenges, or a major life transition, you don't have to carry that burden alone.

I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space designed for individuals from all walks of life who are seeking to regain their footing, find their voice, and break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Seeking help is a courageous act of reclamation, and my goal is to honor your unique story.

I offer specialized expertise in supporting BIPOC, immigrant, and Caribbean communities. I deeply understand the layers of identity struggles and cultural stigma that can make reaching out feel difficult. My work is heavily rooted in trauma-informed care, providing dedicated support for survivors of domestic violence, emotional abuse, and sexual trauma.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and compassionate, utilizing a blend of CBT and psychodynamic therapy to help you understand the why behind your experiences while building the how for your future. Together, we uncover your inherent strengths and find new perspectives on your journey toward emotional well-being.
